Maybe not a top 5 win tonight but definitely top 10, double-digit win again Saban in their house, snapping a massive winning streak. The TexAgs meltdown threads are already epic. Thoughts?

Ewers showed what he is capable of really for first time as a Horn. play that way the rest of the year and he will be in New York and Texas will somewhere none of us really thought they might be come January.

Easily overlooked but Thompson made the interception at a key juncture of the game. He was being forced out on the sideline and made a move inside, gaining another 5 yards. Set us up for first and goal at the 5 rather than first and 10. Small things make a huge difference and that move was a big one.

You are exactly right. I’m general, I saw good decisions by the older players and less than optimum decisions or mistakes by the younger players. Direct correlation.

Also… big kudos to Ewers for not taking the bait when Holly Row (Roe?) was trying to get him to say “we’re back!” in the post game interview. He showed maturity there.
Yeah, big difference since last year. Reminds me of Colt who went from skinny kid to BMOC in 2008.

Difficult not to recognize the speed that bama had there on the interception. I am not sure, other than worthy that Texas has that kind of pull away speed. I think perhaps AD Mitchell was referenced before but just have not seen it on display. I for one was very happy to see Mitchell attempting to block last night after what we saw on the rice game. Guessing he got the memo from Sark!!!

Mitchell was better but was pushed around on 2 occasions. Needs more lower body strength going into the block.

You can hear the collective "NO!" from the stadium on that throw before Thompson even made the pick.
