Big time…Brooks also early my respect this game.
me too,Ewers won me over tonight.
these guys were making plays!Big time…
As Ant Hill, Ethan Burke, Jhade Baron, man i could go on.
stats say burke only had one sack. could have sworn he had two.these guys were making plays!
Easily overlooked but Thompson made the interception at a key juncture of the game. He was being forced out on the sideline and made a move inside, gaining another 5 yards. Set us up for first and goal at the 5 rather than first and 10. Small things make a huge difference and that move was a big one.
Also… big kudos to Ewers for not taking the bait when Holly Row (Roe?) was trying to get him to say “we’re back!” in the post game interview. He showed maturity there.Ewers won me over tonight.
Yeah, big difference since last year. Reminds me of Colt who went from skinny kid to BMOC in 2008.Also… big kudos to Ewers for not taking the bait when Holly Row (Roe?) was trying to get him to say “we’re back!” in the post game interview. He showed maturity there.

Mitchell was better but was pushed around on 2 occasions. Needs more lower body strength going into the block.Difficult not to recognize the speed that bama had there on the interception. I am not sure, other than worthy that Texas has that kind of pull away speed. I think perhaps AD Mitchell was referenced before but just have not seen it on display. I for one was very happy to see Mitchell attempting to block last night after what we saw on the rice game. Guessing he got the memo from Sark!!!
