Needless to say, I disagree. Lebowski and Miller's Crossing are way, way, WAY underrated.

And this aggression shall not stand.

1) life changing masterpieces.
Lebowski,Fargo,Raising Arizona

2)Allsome
NCFOM,OBWAT,Blood Simple,Millers Crossing

3) Good (will watch multiple times, but has flaws)
Ladykillers,Hudsucker,Burn, Barton Fink

4) Not Bad
The man who was not there

5) Crap
Intolerable Cruelty

I think Miller's Crossing is a near perfect movie. Fargo is very good too.

No, I don't agree, because O Brother, Where Art Thou is notably missing.
The movies are so different, and in different genres, that it is hard to pick "best" lists, so favorites come into play. Mine would include Fargo, Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men, O Brother Where Art Thou, and Raising Arizona.

I was greatly underwhelmed with Burn After Reading.

True story: The Coen Brothers approached my Uncle in the early 80's to see if he would like to Produce their first movie. He read the script (Blood Simple) and thought it was too violent, so he passed. He might have whiffed on that one.

My top 5 would be:
5) O Brother where art thou?
4) The Big Lebowski
3) NCFOM
2) Raising Arizona
1) Miller's Crossing

1A) Fargo...One of the best movies in the last 20 years in my opinion. Performances really did it for me.

1B) NCFOM...One of the best movies in the last 10 years in my opinion. Screenplay...of course it's Cormac McCarthy. Just great storytelling about humanity with simple raw drama.

Kinda funny that Blood Simple is their best-reviewed movie ever. Odd that among those who gave Raising Arizona a rotten are Variety, New York Times, and Roger Ebert. "Sure, it's a comedy and I laughed, but I had issues with its narrative style." Puhleeze....

The really odd comment is from the write-up of Miller's Crossing (which I actually watched again last night after the game):

I love Millers Crossing, Fargo, & O Brother Where.........

But I cannot stand Raising Arizona, I love that type of humor and have tried to watch this movie a dozen times but it just does not work for me.
