Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo has reportedly dumped Jessica Simpson, who was widely blamed for costing him a shot at the Super Bowl.

"Tony is now starting to blame her himself," a pal told OK! magazine. "Before dating Jessica, he was Texas' golden boy. Now he's become a joke."

A few days after the Giants bounced the Cowboys from the playoffs, Romo called the "Dukes of Hazzard" star to tell her their romance was over.

"He said he thought it was better if they went back to being friends," a pal of hers said. "

Hmmm, tap it & run Romo. Sounds like he's trying to mold himself after T. Brady with minimal success. Last year it was Carrie Underwood, this year Jessica Simpson. I think Romo needs to stick with the local D/FW talent (and there's plenty of it). Everytime he goes "prime time" he falls to **** in his games.

I'm sorry though, if he is now making comments about Simpson being to blame for the losses - then he's a first-class douche in my opinion. That team is a shell of what they were back in the Tom Landry days. Too many egos battling for space. Hence now why (and for quite some time) the Cowgirls can kiss my ***.
