All the links from yesterday should still be good.
I will also put up the Kansas vs. OSU game link
if it comes up.

Let's beat up on the former OU kicker's kid whose pitching for Tech tonight. Got to keep winning to stay in the conference race against teams like Tech.

Walsh is starting, quite a surprise!

Weis gets an infield single up the middle, but that's it.
Need a good outing from French with the wind blowing out.

French gives up a walk, but nothing more so after 1 complete there is no score.

One note the second batter hit a fly ball to left not hit well at all and it carried to the track!

Horns down in order again. No score to the bottom of the third.
Sitting on a time bomb here, got to get the bats going.

French gives up a two out single that Walsh misplayed in left, but gets out of it with the help of a great play by Etier deep in the hole at short. He made a really strong throw for the out.

No score after 3 complete. Come on let's get some hits.

Horns finally break through. Weis with a one out double down the right field line. Then Silver with the clutch two out double in the gap in left center scores Weis. Then Felts HBP and Marlow hits a chopper over the mound that the 2nd baseman throws away for a hit and an error that scores Silver.

Now Texas leads 2-0 in the bottom of the 4th.

Back to back doubles gets Tech on the board and then Walsh throws the ball away. The runner moves up to third. A ground out ties the game and then a tough error is called on Weis as he dives and fields a ground ball down the line but pulls Silver off the bag. A ground ball moves up the runner to 2nd and he scores on a single.

Like yesterday Tech takes the lead after Texas scores. Now 3-2 in the fifth.

Texas goes down quickly in the fifth in order. Tech still leads to the bottom of the fifth at 3-2.

Lead off hitter chops one up the middle and beats it out for a single. A sac moves him to second. Then an intentional walk and that's it for French.

Milner in to pitch now.

And for the second day in a row after the intentional walk to get to the same batter as yesterday he gets a hit. A single to center scores the run and runners move to 2nd and third on the throw.

Milner does get out without further damage, but Tech now leads 4-2 in the 6th now.

Milner gives up a walk and that's all in the 6th. To the 7th and Tech still leads 4-2. Got to wake up the bats.

Felts singles to lead off and sac to 2nd. A ground ball moves him to third and Maitland singles him home. Then Payton triples over the right fielders head as the wind had died to tie it up at 4.

For some reason Augie ph's Shaw for Stell just because he hits lefty I guess and he K's to end the inning. Stell had been hitting well.

Stretch time tied at 4. Milner still on the hill.

Top 7th. Felts singles, Marlow sac bunts him to 2nd. Etier grounds out and moves him to 3rd. Maitland singles to score Felts and Payron triples to score Maitland. Shaw K's. 4-4 tied going to bot 7th. R.J.

Three fly balls retire Tech in the 7th although Walsh had an adventure on the last one.

To the 8th tied at 4. Come on bats this guy can't have much left in the tank.

Tech starts the inning with a lefty reliever and Weis beats out a little chopper to 1st baseman, then Walsh sacs him to 2nd.
Pitching change to bring in the righty to face Silver.

If we take the lead here, wouldn't be surprised to see Knebel in the bottom of the 8th again. If we don't we will probably see Milner against a lefty and then Curtis against a righty.

But Silver K's and Felts grounds out to third.
Still tied to the bottom of the 8th. Big inning here as Tech
has the top of the order up and that's who does their damage
most of the time.

Knebel in to pitch.

Tech leads off with a double to left center. Then they can't get the bunt down and K. Then a fly ball, walk, and a ground out ends the inning.

In the 9th now tied at 4, need to score.

Etier is hit by a pitch with one out, but Maitland grounds 6-4-3 on the first pitch to end it.

Bottom of the 9th with Knebel on the hill tied at 4.

Wow, after an out Knebel walks a man and then a single has runners on 1st and third. Then a short fly ball to right and the runner at third doesn't try to score. But the runner at first goes to 2nd and then doesn't retag 2nd and goes back to first and is doubled up at 2nd base.

Big break for Texas, now let's get some runs and win it.
Also runner was thrown out of the game for arguing the call.

Thanks again for the updates. I guess they really don't have many choices, but I sure hate to see Knebel have to pitch two or more innings for the second night in a row. That's not a good thing in the short or long run.

Weis walks with two outs, but that's it and it's to the bottom of the 10th tied at 4 still.

How much longer will Knebel go?

Knebel mows down Tech in order. To the 11th tied at 4.
No other way to say this, you have to score more than 4 runs against Tech's pitching.

Time to do something Horns!

The Tech reliever strikes out the side, making him look like Knebel right now. Bottom of 11th tied at 4. Knebel I guess till he can't lift his arm.

Down goes Tech in order again. On to the 12th tied at 4.
Larry Hayes and his toady calling the game doesn't make it any easier to watch.

Please score and then end this Horns!

Etier with an infield single, then the sac moves him up. Payton flies out and Shaw, who I still know why he hit for Stell K's.

Bottom of the 12th tied at 4. Knebel one more time.
