On the mound, State will pit Kane Holbrooks against UT's Kenn Kasparek. Holbrooks is 2-4 with an 8.45 ERA. The right-hander's last stint against Texas went three innings, allowing just seven hits and four runs to cross. Kasparek holds an overall ERA of 5.23. He has tossed 41.1 total innings and opponents hit .255 against the right-hander.

I appreciate TexasSports TV making the games available, but it does bug me that there is no scoreboard. I always open up one window to show the stats, and then another window to show the video. Of course the stats are always way behind the video. I guess I should just be happy with what I got, huh?

Is it just my fading memory, or does Texas State maroon just keep getting darker and darker. 25 years ago, they were just a deep red. Then they evolved into an aTm maroon, and now their uniforms look a lot darker. Maybe it is Ty trying to not look like Aggie, or maybe its just the color on my computer, or maybe it is just my fading memory....
