Yeah Katy is always prepared. I prefer to see them win and preserve their shot at a title run, but I’d also like to see Milroe do well tonight. The Tompkins offense looks pretty good.

That kid #8 or #9 was very special. Reminded me of Shipley with his ability to always find the hole in the zone, get open, and fight for the ball. Also worth mentioning that the DB he went up against has offers from Alabama & Ohio State plus eight more.

Tompkins ran a play tonight that I have never seen before at any level. From the shotgun, WR on right side comes in motion like it will be a sweep, but when the ball is snapped the WR stops in front of the QB to pick up the blitz. Unfortunately for the WR, the OL picked up the LB leaving the large DT free for the skinny WR to try to stop.

He at least got in way enough to slow the kid down and Milroe got the ball off.

Question - did Milroe call for the block or did the WR read the blitz while in motion?

Part of the problem is these kids listen to music that glorifies and normalizes the N word, and they think they are gangsta by using it.

We really are hypocrites as a society when it comes to that word. We cant monetize it through rap artists yet expect kids to fully appreciate the meaning of the word when its thrown around so liberally.

I remember the Houston Gamblers (USFL) ran a running play where the WR came in motion and actually trapped the DT. The offensive linemen all blocked other guys. I remember the play so well because the WR went helmet to helmet and literally knocked the DT out. They actually ran that play a couple times and every time I saw it. Th DT never expected that WR to hit him like that.
