tom lemming has his finger on the recruiting pulse like no other observer, and he has a very keen eye for talent. his only listing ten texas kids here is testament to the poor talent in this state. i know we have tried and tried to get out of state schools to consider texas kids, but with this kind of bare-knuckled exposing of the awful truth, we really don't stand a chance, do we?

As someone else pointed out, Louisiana seems to have better talent than both Texas and California combined. Seems a tad bit disproportional.

The Carolinas combine also seem to have a lot more talent than the Lone Star state. Somebody should tell Mack. Maybe he still has a friend or two around there.
