I have been a big fan of this guy since his first SuperBowl win. His production this year has been unbelieveable.

3029 yards, 66.8 compl%, 27 TD, 4 INT, 109.5 passer rating

He hasn't thrown an INT in 7 straight games.

His career numbers are never going to stand up to those of Manning but he always has played in a far different offense for much of his career. 2007 was the one year they went to a spread look and added a superstar WR. That year he put up perhaps the best passing season ever.

I find it remarkable that he is doing what he is doing this year without a true #1 out there. No WR on his team has more than 700 receivng yards thus far. Instead he has 6 guys with 300 or more yards.

Manning has thrown 11 INTs in his last 3 games. Brady has never thrown more than 14 INTs in an entire season.

Update:
3398 yards, 66.8 comp%, 29 TD, 4 INT, 109.9 passer rating

Zero INTs in his last 8 games. His lowest passer rating the last 5 games was this past week at 113.4. This might be the best 8 game stretch a QB has ever had.

hornpharmd,
Do you realise how injured the Colts are? They are banged up and have been running their 3rd and 4th string RBs almost all season, and that was with Peyton not having a great running game with the 1st and 2nd string RBs. There have been 3 main receivers hurt just about all year, and major shake ups on the Oline.
Let's not mention how banged up the Defense is, which puts further pressure on Manning. The Colts just don't have it this year, so your comparision is just a bit off.
Brady plays for the guy who has to be one of the biggest scumbags of a coach. I actually think that Belichek and Jerry Jones would make a great pair. I used to like NE, but not with that coach and so much of what has gone on there recently.

Ive always felt Tom Brady was far superior to Peyton Manning.

Manning has played with a number of superstar receivers while Randy Moss is the only superstar receiver Brady has ever played with.

I will never understand the Peyton Manning worship.

I really dont see how Manning is any better then Brady or Drew Brees.

I happen to know a starting lineman for the Patriots, and he says Brady is in fact a db. But he's also the best QB in the league, so what ya gonna do? Basically says Brady runs the team (atleast offensively). I'm sure none of that is much of a surprise though.

He was unbelievable against the Jets and is having a great year. Patriots are a great organization, they have alot of young players on their roster and they have 6 picks in the top 3 rounds this year, they are the team of the future in the NFL.
I am a huge Manning fan but he has played very poorly the last 3 games, I know Indy has alot of injuries but he has made poor decisions recently.

lol.
I am not trying to take away from Brady. Just that he is a DB, and the last 3 games don't make a career.
Also, Wayne has been playing hurt almost the entire season, and has been in the league 10 years. He too is old. Collie was a 4th round pick, so it wasn't like he was some sort of superstar coming in. Arguably, the best receiver on the Colts right now is Garcon, who was also a 6th rounder like Brady.
I think some people just think Manning has had great receivers, because he makes them look so good. Brady does the same thing to be fair. They are both great QBs, but this year NE is playing MUCH better as a team. The Colts have a great number of injuries, and their Oline just isn't giving Manning time to throw, which leads to Manning forcing it. Looks a lot like Gilbert this year because of Oline troubles.

So here is the rundown. Wayne, 10 year veteran hurt all year, but a first rounder, Collie, hurt the last 4 weeks, 4th rounder, Tamme, 4th rounder, Garcon 6th rounder, Clark out most of the season, Blair White, rookie who I believe was undrafted... I wouldn't say Manning has superstars.

Brady about to set another record. By my count he has 307 straight passes without an INT through the 1st half at Buffalo.

Last INT was last pass of regulation against Baltimore in week 6 of this season.

He has also thrown 23 straight TDs without throwing an INT.
