Toilet splash

Not that Bob

So, I get fancy new Kohler Dual Flush, water efficient, save the whales toilets for the casa. About 30% of the time water splashes up on the seat, and out on to the floor when I flush. Just a few drops, but I'm finicky about having poo broth anywhere in my house. I call the tech line and they guy tells me that in order to have a good flush with low water usage the toilet must have "rapid water movement", so poo broth on the seat is "normal."

I have read that Toto is better. Any suggestions?

I agree with return it. I would be totally dissatisfied with the product and would not have it in my house. Sheesh, you have enough problems with little boys and their aim. Why would anyone want a toilet that would splash poo or pee water.

If that's normal, that's poorly designed, and you may have no other choice but to return it. These are supposed to be high end crappers, not rural gas station urinals that spew water back at you at a higher rate than you just deposited.

When we remodeled a couple of years ago, we ordered Kohler toilets. Upon delivery, my contractor told us he wouldn't install them and told us to get Toto toilets. Good choice.

I have two Toto Drakes and they have been magnificent. I know that sounds weird for a toilet, but they are far better than anything else I have ever used.
