Ok, got some things to do before the game today.
Any link problems just post and I will check it out.
Let's keep winning!

Texas wins second game of softball over New Mexico 7-3 and it's baseball time hornfans.

Missouri leads 4-3 at Aggy in the 8th.
Kansas leads Tech 5-2 in the 7th.
OU leads K-State 7-6 in the 5th.
Baylor leads OSU 2-0 in the 4th.

This is where they will get the taste of a rivalry and carry it into the SEC as if it were something dating back centuries.

Really bad start for French and the Horns five singles, two are bunt singles and one infield single plus an error on a bunt plates 4 runs for Cal in the first. Texas coming to the plate now trailing 4-0. Let's rattle some bats again today, looks like we will have to.

Upsets galore last night.

#1 Florida loses to #22 Ole Miss
#2 Standford loses to #13 Arizona
#3 Arkansas loses to # 14 LSU
#5 UNC loses to Wake Forest
#6 Miami loses to Clemson

Payton walks, but nothing across for the Horns. Cal leads 4-0 after an inning.

Final at Collie as Missouri wins 4-3 with the final out being the tying run being thrown out at the plate on a single to center. Close play and ump says runner missed the plate and then was tagged. Aggy goes nuts, and I am sure Texags is in full meltdown like it was on Dave Yeast on a call at the plate when we beat them. South thinks they were robbed. They never showed a replay which was strange.

That's two home losses for Aggy in conference. They play at home again next weekend against OU.

The bad breaks continue as a couple of bloop hits score a run and then another error scores another and Cal now leads 6-0 in the bottom of the third. Looking like yesterday in reverse so far.

OU and K-State tied at 7 in the 8th.
Kansas beats Tech 5-2.

Triple and a groundout score yet another run and now Cal leads 7-0 to the bottom of the 4th.

K-State leads OU 8-7 in the 9th and Baylor leads OSU 3-2 in the 8th.

Nothing for the Horns and still 7-0 in the fifth.
Golloway argues a strike and gets tossed in the OU game as they bat down 8-7 in the ninth.

An error by Summers ends the day for French and lo and behold Bellows comes in to pitch, maybe Dicharry to follow later?

K-State beats OU 8-7.

OSU gets two runners on in the ninth, but a double play ground ball ends the game and Baylor wins 3-2 and remains undefeated in conference play.

Texas gets on the board on a couple of singles and a ground out scores the run. Now 7-1 Cal after 5 complete.

After a single off Bellows, he is gone and in come Justin Peters to pitch. Emptying the pen today it seems.

Sophmore Justin Peters comes in and gets lit up with consecutive homers to left and a line single to center that nearly took his head off. Now 11-1 Cal.

It takes two routs in two games, but now Austin Dicharry finally pitches in a real game.

Yes, it's breaking up, had a back up feed. To tell you how bad things are, the guy hosting it got so disgusted with the game he shut it down.

Maybe this one will clear up I hope.

Well at least we aren't missing too much. When things go bad they really go bad in everything it seems.

I don't know if this is a feed problem or an LHN one.

Well it started moving some and I saw Payton fly out to end the inning and after 7 complete they still lead 11-1.

The drubbing continues as Dicharry gives up two singles and a SF that scores another run and it's now 12-1 Cal going to the bottom of the 8th.

Weis singles and so does Walsh, then Silver singles to score a run to make it 12-2.

I have the radio feed because I bought a month of CBS U-Live to watch the K-State series last week.

Steinhagen K's to end the inning now 12-2 after 8 complete.

Dicharry retires Cal without further carnage in the top of the 9th and it's to the bottom half trailing 12-2.

The Link

Arizona vs. Stanford link that starts at 7:45 for those who might want it.

Remember that the Arky vs. LSU link is on the first page of this thread.

Horns go in order in the 9th and mercifully that is it. Cal wins 12-2. Series tied at 1 apiece as the teams exchange 10 run wins.

Hope things are better tomorrow. Remember the baseball game is on ESPN3 tomorrow if your ISP provides it. Thankfully mine does.

Also I will hopefully have the feed up for the Spring Football Game. Will post that on "On The Field."
