Today's TCU scrimmage

Being reported on killerfrogs.com that Johnathan Gray, Malcom Brown and Timothy Cole all attended today's scrimmage at TCU. Worth keeping an eye on.
 
Count me as one who thinks we are not getting him. I had high hopes at one point. But he attended the Frogs scrimage this past weekend and will skip our scrimage this up coming weekend to go to Aggy land. Unless he has already made up his mind that it's us and he's just having fun attending the other schools. But if he's undecided, his actions says it's not Texas.

how many head to head recruiting battles have we actually lost TCU? I will wait to see how this one goes but don't think we are out of it yet.

Actually, this is not quite accurate in that you are mixing "scrimmages" and "Spring games". Gray attended their scrimmage, not their Spring game. He also attended one of our scrimmages. No difference at all. He also plans to attend an a$m scrimmage, but not any Spring games.
btw, we still lead for him according to Hamilton, Burton, and OB. For what its worth (probably not much), Cole and Brown are being rumored to be favoring Texas and TCU over a$m now. Brown and Cole will attend our Spring game.
 
If Gray does not pan out, hopefully Trey Williams or Sanders are still on speed dial. Another top RB in 2012 is a must have for us.

Bishop, Trey williams will not be recruited by Texas. Jonathan Williams of Allen is a possible plan 2.
 
Who really knows? A rumor was he had a handler. Maybe it was just attitude after not being offered early. Gray was invited to UTs 1st jr day instead of Williams, and this seemed to upset Trey...
 
Thanks gdu. Should be explaination enough. Any odds that he will end up at ou, aggy or any SEC team?
 
Reading too much into Gray at TCU - the place is 30 minutes from his home. Same for the Brenham boys visiting aggy. Easy to go to places close to home - does not mean they will be going there.
 
It may be just me, but every year there seems to be several recruits that get pissed off at UT because we didnt show them enough love or looked at someone else first. I never hear about that happening to aggy!!! Why is that?
 
Typical aggy response = "but, but... you guys cheat too. Everybody does it. You guys just pretend that you're too good to. But my neighbor's brother's cousin's wife's sister-in-cousin's dog walker knew a sip once. And he admitted all kinds a crap that you guys to do. Bongwhorns!"

As good as he seems, he is just 1 recruit. He can't be anymore coveted than AllDay, RhettBomar, David Warren, or even the DT from Keller that went to ou a couple yrs ago. He seems like a good kid and I hope he wearing Longhorn gear to the NFL draft in a few yrs. If not, good luck to him and AppleHarsin will having us lovin whoever we have wearing the horns
