Today's doubleheader postponed

Today’s doubleheader (5/16) against Alabama A&M has been postponed due to inclement weather. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday (5/17) with the first game slated for 12 p.m. and the second game to start 30-40 minutes after completion of the first game.

The Texas Longhorns’ regular season came to an end before the final games even started.

That’s because rain forced the Longhorns to postpone Saturday’s double-header against Alabama A&M.

Those were the final games on Texas’ regular-season schedule.

Now the Longhorns, winners of the Big 12 regular-season championship, will head off to next week’s conference tournament without having played in a week and a half.

The Longhorns might have been better off with the games being canceled as the Bulldogs’ low RPI (289) would have hurt Texas’ strength of schedule anyway.
