I did not make it to the game but watched online. I was amazed by how many fans stayed to the end. It looked like a full crowd. Were they selling coffee in the 20+ inning?
I could not bear to miss a single Wood pitch. I found myself shaking my head in disbelief every time he came out from the 10th inning on. I was pretty incredulous he got even that far. The mental fortitude of that performance defies description.
I was hoping to see a magical RBI by Texas.
It was the most engrossing game I've ever seen. I hardly noticed the time.
I was there all 25 innings and it was amazing how many people stayed for the entirety. It was like no one wanted to leave and miss out on history. I missed Alaniz' and Workman's no-hitters but am proud to say that I was here for this. Truly an amazing game and a phenomenal pitching performance by Austin, both of them!
