Titans go after Jackson??

With the 49ers releasing Darryl Jackson, is he someone the TItans could use for Vince? Or do they not even bother...?

I thought he was a good WR? The 49ers paid him big $$$ just a few years ago, right? I would think he's GOT to be an upgrade for the Titans.

EDIT: Apparently he was due $4M this year, so I guess he didn't have a huge contract. And the 49ers didn't sign him to that deal I think the Seahawks did, so I was wrong all around...

Daryl Jackson was a stud a few years ago but I think that had more to do with the chemistry he had with Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck. Jackson was traded to San Fran because he was a tool in the locker room alway whining about something and he supposedely hated to practice.

He might be a cheap option to some team but I would chalk up his previous accomplishments to the QB throwing him the ball.

Is he good enough to be a third or fourth guy on any other team?

If so, then of course the Titans will pick him up, they have no interest in getting a No.1 "Go To" type guy...
