Time Warner Digital Cable box

I just got home from Dallas, and I find that my Time Warner cable box is a bit screwy. It doesn't have any of the program information on the TV guide, and when i hit the guide button, it stops everything and says "Changing Date fo Sun 10/10 One Moment, please." I leave it sitting like that for a LONG time (30 minutes) and nothing happens. Eventually I press the C button to cancel, but now I can't get any programming information.

any ideas?

Unplug it for a few minutes then plug it back in. This will reset it.

What is the model number of your cable box. If it is an hd box and it is a 3100 take the thing back and get a 3250. They have been known to have a lot of issues and TW always wants to give these units out first.
