Anybody else been playing this? It is much friendlier than 08 (though I eventually got used to it). Seems the club tuner is pretty cool, but I don't see the practical point of it. For that matter, I am not seeing the value of advanced club sets. Am I missing something?
 
Playing it now. Pretty good game. I think the advance club sets give you better distance but a smaller sweet spot. Between the load times, all the dumb challenges, and all the people you have to go through. The Tiger Challenge is taking forever.
 
Beat the tiger challenge. Got very annoying as it went on. The AI is pretty much the same, but the main way they make it a "challenge" is make you play every hole at pebble beach with hurricane force winds. So you just have to hope that Tiger hits it in the water more than you do.
 
Yeah, I haven't played in several days and on Adam Scott. I understand what you are saying about the clubs, it just doesn't seem like the tradeoff in additional distance is that big a difference. I mean if I can get to the the Par 5s with the beginner set of clubs with moderate wind in 2. I like the concept, I just think that the tradeoff isn't quite right.
