Hey Horns, here is hoping for a great series with a pair of the most respected teams in the nation. I hope for a well fought series by both teams and for all players and fans to remain injury free. I fully expect that the contest will be close and entertaining for all. We respect your depth in pitching and your ability to dazzle a defense with the small ball. You are an unpredictable bunch led by a legend in college baseball. I have no problem extending my hand and keeping the smack to a minimum.

We Tigers are a proud bunch. Most of us are born into it and remain committed despite all of the hard times. We work hard but we play even harder and the food, dude! We all look forward to a well played series. Good luck and Geaux Tigers-

It is kind of funny all through the 90s I desperately wanted Texas to have a shot like this against LSU and now it finally shows up.

As a gesture of good sportsmanship, here's a Cajun-friendly tip:

Tired of stirring your roux over a hot stove for 30-45 minutes? Then BAKE it instead. Use a dutch oven or cast-iron skillet; equal parts flour and oil, whisked together; and the oven set to 350 degrees.

Remove from the oven every 15 minutes to re-stir. It takes longer (for a nice brick roux, about 90 minutes), but it's low maintenance and foolproof. You'll never burn your roux again!

Thanks, but never. Roux is a labor of love and getting to as close to burnt without burning it is the goal. For simplicity I respect your suggestion however, there is a TV in the kitchen for game day cooking!

Thanks for the kind words Tiger, we've tailgated with your fans for baseball in the past, and they've always been a lot of fun.

And just for the sake of comparison, telling a Cajun to bake his roux is like telling a Texan to cook his brisket in the oven...
