Tiffany would be a HUGE get for the Horns. I had kind of written her off as a Baylor fan.....I would love to see her in burnt orange!!
The rest of MY wish list includes Chiney (along with lots of other schools), Meighan Simmons, and Kelsi Baker. Not sure if TX hasn't offered Kelsi yet or if she isn't interested....per the PeachStateHoops site. Hoopgurlz has Kelsi as a..... "flat out gamer"
I think that much of the recruiting landscape will depend on the performance of Griner and this year's Baylor class. If Griner turns out to be what she is predicted to be I think that there may be a lot of players who want to be on the same floor with her, much like CP did for OU and Parker did for Tennessee.
Moore would be a great get; her assists and rebounds per game are very impressive. She seems like a player who could play multiple positions at the next level.
Whether or not it makes a difference, Maryland already has a commitment from a 6'0 guard and a 6'0 Wing player, and just recently got a commitment from 5'10 guard Lauren Mincy.
Of course, we have 5'10 guard Chelsea Bass in the fold for 2010, but lose Arriaran and Raven after this season. So, we need guards/wings this year. And, sounds like our interest in 5'8 Meighan Simmons is pretty high; but, I get the feeling she is more of a penetrating guard, and probably has different skills than Moore and Bass.
A&M has two 'ships remainining for 2010, I believe.
from New Orleans, a story on Moore.
Wish the Texas coaches had been mentioned as being there. I assume someone from Texas was there.
Looks like Moore is working on her 3pt shooting.
You guys keep forgetting Lauren Flores on the floor. She is flat out good. As with many Frosh, she may need a few games to show what she can do for the team.
Nobody is forgetting Lauren, but she is not a wing player. She's a PG who can play SG. Moore would play a position similar to Kat and Brit on the wing. Besides, Lauren is already here.
She would be an excellent fit at pretty much any school. Excellent defender, good scorer, can pass the ball. I hope she comss to UT. Baylor, her favorite school, seems to have no schollies available. Their loss, someone else's good luck.
