Tickets to Mon/Tues Game

How easy will it be to get tickets to the game on Mon and Tues if I just show up in Omaha? Prices?

Can someone explain the GA tickets to me. They seem plentiful.

GA isn't guaranteed admission - they keep count, and when too many people show up in the bleachers, they don't let any more in until someone leaves. We were in line Thursday night, when we gave up and bought reserved seats from a scalper. Used the GA tickets this afternoon, and then moved over to the right field grandstands.

We did not have any problem finding reserved tickets. Scalpers really don't scalp - they almost always charge face. We had two scalpers try and charge us more than face (and one guy asked to see my driver's license to prove I wasn't a cop). There are lots of people selling tickets, and it's not a problem getting in.

That being said....do whatever you can to sit with Texas fans. I wasn't thrilled with Bugeater hospitality, and enjoyed tonight's game much more when we moved up to the LHF section. The post earlier saying go to Little Texas down the right field line and asking about tickets there? Not bad advice at all.

Tix are NO PROBLEM. Dang, just get up here. We need some relief from tigger. Scalpers can't legally sell over face so find some tix and pay your $27 and get the heck in there. Ain't a bad seat in the house.

Come on!

You guys have me convinced. I'm leaving tonight

there will be plenty of seats. attendance isn't great for the championship games. i was there for 04 and 05. you shouldn't have a problem. i do expect this year to be a bit more of a hassle with regards to the two powerhouses that will be there and their dedicated fanbases.

i leave tomorrow morning!

I will be there tomorrow afternoon.

I am seeing on average $100-125 per ticket on CL, StubHub, TicketCity, etc... Upwards to $500 for some seats.

Is this just people trying to get rich early and then the market wil cause them to tank come game day?

I'm kicking myself that this isn't at a more opportune time when I can actually afford it.

I'm envious of every one of you lucky ones who are there or are hitting the road right now.

Are you sure tickets will be plentiful? Seems with a series like Texas vs. LSU which is much more rich in tradition and stronger fan bases than any other CWS in this decade, that tickets will not be as easy to come by.

You guys are f'n crazy. Tickets will be $100-$150+ for each game. The last of the reserved tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon at Rosenblatt ... there has been a line of 100+ since noon today.

Anyone who thinks people will be tossing up face price tickets for this series is just nuts.

Unless you have some hookups, be prepared to pay.

stubb hubb is a ******* rip off.

I bought some Yankees Red Sox tickets.. we got to Fenway, and just for fun I asked a scalper how much their cheapest seats were... they were better seats and HALF what I paid. Mother F'er.

We wound up going the next night for about 40 a pop in the bleachers. I paid a bit over 100 each to get tickets off stubhub.

BH, you're just trying to keep the market down...

Might not pay face but the scalpers'll be terrified to ask over. There'll be some singles floating around for face or close like there always are but it's true that this is the big boys so I'll just say good luck.

Never had problems before but I do recall we had to sleep overnight at the damned ticket office to get some seats in the last section for '05...

We'll see.

Scalpers are already pulling close to $200 each for the better box seats. Tickets are available, but bring cash.

Yes, technically scalping is illegal (especially near the stadium), but they are wary and work to make sure you're not a cop before quoting you a price.

yeah, tickets are easy to find but you're going to pay out the ***. I haven't heard of anything under $200. The drunk cajuns are buying them up left and right. Heck, my friends who work for ticket brokers can't find seats too easily.

I also expect the lsu fans to outnumber us 2 to 1, which is disheartening. We should have just as many fans there as they do.

Dead Horse is 100% right on about the money. It is just money. They are going to print more of it tomorrow and you are going to make more of it. When this life is done, you don't take anything with you.

I mean, have you ever seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul?

We bought two tickets in section P (thanks Longhorn Girlie) last Wednesday (assuming an LSU vs. Texas matchup). Paid $120 but have tickets. Same tickets were going for $200 online on Saturday.
