Tickets for Little Rock Games

I assume the Longhorn Foundation will be selling an allotment of tickets for next week's games in Little Rock. Does anyone know how and when the tickets will be sold? For example, will the LHF contact season ticket holders via email for first shot at tickets, or do we have to call them Monday or line up at Belmont?
 
I'm just trying to close the deal as soon as tickets become available so I don't learn too late that they are already on sale and have already sold out. The arena is already sold out for the event, so there is no option to buy tickets directly from the arena.

It's surprising that TexasSports.com is completely quiet so far on post-season ticketing. Although it wasn't known where we would be going, they could at least post what the procedure for getting tickets would be once the location of the first round was announced.

And regarding New Orleans, I would have liked Oprah to drive Carmelo around town in her limo during the game with us.
 
Little Rock is no Fayetteville - at least it wasn't when I spent a few weeks up there several years ago. Most folks were actually very nice to this Austinite.

Of course it does have one of the highest crime rates in the US, so whoever goes, be careful out there.
 
I talked to the LHF this morning. The UT ticket office (512/471-3333) is collecting names and credit card information through noon Tuesday, then they will award tickets based on your contribution level to the LHF, just like for football games. You should be notified by email Tuesday if you get tickets. Tickets are then available for you at will call in Little Rock.

The same process will be followed for the regional games in Houston.
 
Third Coast, I agree that Little Rock is much better than Fayetteville from a UT fan standpoint. I attribute it to a broader gene pool brought by Little Rock's close proximity to several major highways.

I'll be staying out in West Little Rock, which is the newer area of town. Some of the areas near downtown can be seedy. Overall it's a nice town though.
 
In a related note, what about tickets for non season ticket holders? I'm a Texas Ex member but that's about it right now.

I'm mainly interested in tickets in Houston if we make it there. What's the best bet on getting tickets?

Luckily, I'm set for San Antonio regardless of who plays, but I'd like to get tickets for the Houston Regional if possible.

I'll look into it and let you all know if I find a good source, etc. for tickets.

If I were a horn fans I would buy Houston Regional tickets now..you can get good deals on ebay and ticketmaster still had tickets yesterday. If you wait till after the round 2 games, you will pay a big time premium....especially is Texas makes it.
 
Has anyone received word about the status of their orders or if ticket requests exceeded our allotment?
