TICKETMASTER PRESALE

so apparently there was a presale this morning for the MNC tickets. I googled the password and found out it is CITIBCS, but it appears all the tickets were gone in like 30 secs.

That is fantastic news.

They haven't closed it off saying sold out yet, but it also isn't turning up any tickets when you put in for them. Scalpers must be trying to pay for all the tikets their computers sealed up.

I tried at 11:00 and was not able to get anything. A friend of mine tried at the same time and did not get any either.

So does anyone know the story with tomorrow? What is the start time?

tried and fail...I honestly wonder if it's actually humanly possibly to get tickets via ticketmaster for these events. Anyone ever have success? I've seen online tutorials that guarantee success, but they never work.

They accidentally put some (maybe all) of the tickets on sale last Tuesday, when it was supposed to be tomorrow. Most of them got gobbled up then.

I tried it just to try it and did not expect anything. What I got was 3 tickets. The handling charge or whatever the hell it is blows but hell yeah!

It did happen, and it was an accident. My friend got them this way then called Tickemaster to confirm that she really was getting them. TM told her it was an error, but that they'd honor the transaction any way. It was only open for a very brief period, as she immediately told others to do it but it was too late.

maybe we'll get lucky and those that "accidentally went onsale" were the presale tickets and that's way no one had a shot at those today. Maybe all the "general public" tickets are still availabe. I know a pipe dream but one can hope.

OK, I'll admit I tried it just to see what would happen.

Nothing, nada, zilch.

But here's the interesting part: when I enter the CITIBCS password and then the CAPTCHA code, the Ticketmaster site does its cogitation; then for a split second, it looks like ot starts to put up a search results screen, but then it immediately refreshes with the "Sorry, no exact matches were found" screen.

Am I just being paranoid here? Or are other folks seeing this, too?

I tried 1or 2 tickets and got the "none avail, try again". I talked to a guy at Ticketmaster to see if there was anything available and he said he was locked out and couldn't even check.

That there sounds like they made a mistake and they are trying to fix it or assess what went on. That may be why he has no access to even check into the issue or is locked out.

Again, I've never heard of anyone getting their tickets when they are "supposed to" go on sale to the public for a high demand sporting event via ticketmaster. It really irks me that they happily sell tickets through a subsidary at marked up prices. I'm wondering if the bowls get kickbacks from those tickets.
