Kevin Thomas ruled academically ineligible and will go the JC route for at least one year.

Jaylen Bond is enrolled at UT and is awaiting his official release from Pitt - which I believe should be forthcoming - making him eligible this season.

I'd say he's similar in size to Damion James. Somewhere between 6'6" and 6'8" in shoes, and a pretty decent build.

Bond is reported to be very athletic with a good all around game and is a force on the offensive boards. I have heard him compared to a hybrid James and Jordan Hamilton.

So here's my new depth chart, knowing what we know now:

MK, Gibbs
Brown
Lewis, McClellan
Bond, Holmes
Chapman, Wangmene

Pencil thin at G, but I have a feeling Barnes will still go with three-guard lineups against athletic teams. Whoever between Lewis and McClellan seems to be the name of the game right now. Brown and MK are going to get uber-minutes.

I have a feeling Chapman and Wangmene will be split 50-50 and rarely on the floor together, especially with Holmes coming in.

Horns11: I've looked at this roster as being extremely thin in the frontcourt, not the back. They have adequate outside talent. Inside? Nobody who has proven they can play 20 minutes, much less 25 or 30.

Texdoc: Don't expect to see Thomas. Likely headed to JC and elsewhere after that.

Welcome Mr. Bond. He's leaving a stunningly gorgeous and cool city to another awesome city so he has good taste in where he lives. You are going to love Austin in the winter!
