Posing for a picture with British PM David Cameron and the Denmark PM is something to be embarrassed about? Did you watch any of the Mandela festivities? They were celebrating the man and his accomplishments. This wasn't a funeral.

Spin? Outside of seeing this on the Daily Show last night I haven't read or watched anything referencing this event.

Seriously, what's your issue with the picture? More faux outrage? From this side of the screen, it looks like more of the usual Right-wing blog creates faux outrage...Horn6721 runs to Hornfans to post hoping for some "hell yeahs!" from the conservative posters.

Note to self...when those "hell yeahs" don't materialize even the conservative posters see this as faux outrage or not worth their time to get upset.

My big issue with this is more of where we as a society are headed. It now is common place to whip out your camera and take picture no matter where you are at or what the occasion. I was at cemetery recently and watched a selfie there, just seems disrespectful of the occasion.

Michtex- But that doesn't fit the conservative talking point that Obama was laughing at a "funeral". What you just pointed out is obviously spin or could it be Horn6721 that is actually "spinning"?

Yes and no.

First, let me state that I think this is a non-issue. I have been to a few funerals like this in the past. There might be a parade celebrating the life of the deceased but the dignitaries usually stay dignified. However, it doesn't affect me personally if my leader did not act dignified.
