e. carolina has a good team and a good coach but w. virginia is also an overrated team, they are going to miss rodriguez and they lost just about everyone on defense from last year. but they may be the best team in their conference.

I agree. ECU is pretty good. BCS bowl good? If they keep playing at this level, why not? I expected them to have a hangover after last week, but they just kept rolling. Good for the Pirates. College football becomes more interesting because of it.

Kirk Bohls voted them the No. 2 team in the country, trailing only the USC Trojans and their oustanding coach and herd of running backs. So they must be pretty good. Kirk had the Longhorns way day below ECU. Not even in the mix up close to them. And Kirk knows football.

Yeah yeah, WVU has a weak defense, but still, their potent offense was held to 3 points.

If a team named Michigan or Florida State or Miami had beaten Virginia Tech and then dominated West Virginia back-to-back, there'd be a lot fewer comments on this thread about how they aren't really that good, they just beat overrated teams.
