Think Leach thing stinks...

Hearing now that Adam James requested transfer to SMU a month ago. Request denied b/c ML never allows transfer to in-state school (which I disagree with but that's been ML's policy since day one and everyone knows it). Daddy James goes over ML's head to Gerald Myers b/c he knows GM hates ML. GM seethes but can do nothing about ML's policy. Intrigue is then whether Adam got a concussion. ML feels Adam is pissed about Leach policy and invented head injury to skirt practice, and then tosses him in a room (not a closet, there are pictures this place is as big as a garage) and tells him to treat that bad headache in the dark. You can argue that's bad judgment even if Adam is not faking but nevertheless, a doctor is on record as saying ML did nothing to worsen the situation and probably helped. GM is delighted b/c he can fire ML for cause and keep the $800K bonus due 12/31.

I know nothing more than any of you, but I believe the Pirate. Tech may become the next Baylor if he goes.

The story is just to strange for me. I don't know why he would be confined to a room (not a closet), but cannot agree this is a reason to get rid of ML. As strange as ML may be at times, he has done wonders for TT and kept them in play in the Big XII. Conference cannot afford a politicaly correct appointment at TT right now.

I personally look forward to Tech becoming less dangerous every few years. Leach will find a great job where he is appreciated by the administration. James Jr. will go on doing whatever he does.
