Things to do in New Orleans during the day

so going to bachleor party in the big easy, i have been there many times but only seem to drink at night recover during day, eat and then drink again. can anyone recommend things to do during the day. don't get me wrong we are going to drink and have fun but is there something we should do?

The aquarium is pretty cool if you're in to that kind of thing. Also, they have a couple of those tour bus trips (one of all NO and one of hurricane areas, which I find kinda morbid). The city tour is pretty interesting if you never ventured out of the French Quarter. The wife and I did the bus and the aquarium when we were out there for a wedding and still found plenty of time to drink ourselves into oblivion.

I've been on a Garden District tour which is a walking tour. They also have have Cemetery Tours, Haunted tours, French Quarter tours, Swamp Tours, and Plantation tours.

I've also ridden a paddleboat from the French Quarter to the Zoo and on another visit seen the Chalmette battlefield (Battle of New Orleans). For a quick free trip, ride the Algiers ferry across the river and walk around Algiers Point before returning.

Take the street car to Camelia Grill for breakfast, then walk over to Cooter Brown's and watch some games on t.v while having a few imports, then eat some raw oysters.

Other ideas - gamble at Harrah's, play golf - Audobon Park course is open and think was re-done.

Go to Port of Call for a greasy burger hangover cure. Totals local spot in the quarter- all locals will give you a thumbs up if you ask them about the POC.
Its located at the end of Bourbon at the Esplanade, you wont regret it.
There is also a "Bangkok spa" over on a side street; ask the bellmen at a few of the nicer hotels- "W" and they will tell you exactly where it is.
