Things to do in Lincoln, Nebraska?

Anyone know anything about Lincoln? Ever been for an away game?

What is there to do there? Restaurant reccommendations? Bars/nightlife? Things to do/see? Where to stay? Thanks in advance!

Sidetrack Tavern is the #2 bar in the Big XII. It's a must see on Nebraska gamedays and the night before.

Barry's is near the stadium and is a pre-game standard, but not especially unique or interesting. Go ahead and go just to check it off your list. Their version of Sholtz's.

Eat a Runza.

Drink an Elk Creek.

Most of the bars you want to go to are on O Street. Do a lap around and choose one that looks interesting.

Bernard just about covered it. I'm curious. What is the #1 Big 12 bar? Let me guess. Is it in Stillwater?

went in 06'
barrys before game for some reason, nothing too crazy
pretty good pizza joint on o street, i cant remember the na,e
duffys on o street, they serve fishbowk drinks and apparently you have to hve 2 straws per state law

Was Duffy's they place with the pitchers of frozen screwdrivers? I vaguely remember having far too many of those back in 2002. Barry's was definitely the place to be before the game, but like someone said earlier, not particularly unique.

duffys you could/can have anything you want in your fishbowl, i think i was on a jack and coke mood that day, dont really recall much of the night

You can always go down to the corner and watch the traffic light change. Go down to the Piggly Wiggly and watch the bread mold. Lincoln ain't exactly Party City.
