Things to do in College Station?

I'm thinking of taking the family on a trip there soon. Any tips on some really swell hotels, restaurants and night clubs?

not too family oriented, but the usual thing they do over there is just get hammered to hell then go driving around. kinda crazy being in a setting with no cabs/buses and everything being 5 miles apart.

there is a drive thru place in cstat that sells alcoholic frozen smoothies/cocktails. not sure where its at, but i go all the time with my aggie friends when im down there.

I hear there is a great Ramada Inn in College Station/Bryan. The Horn football team stayed there once.

the drive-through daiquiri place is called "igloos" and its attatched to a convenience store on welborn road between villa maria and university, which means its just a little bit north of campus. if youre headed away from campus it will be on your right. they have some fantastic flavors.

since youre driving and all, i would recommend you get the 48 ouncer, and make it a double shot. might even want to triple it, as it will still taste delicious.

as for things to do in b/cs, northgate isnt downtown austin, but its not the worst. if you can handle all the aggies of course.
