...but learned reading AC/DC Maximum Rock & Roll:
Angus and Malcolm's eldest brother George had some top 40 hits with the 60's outfit the Easybeats. George filled in as a studio drummer and bassist on a couple of early albums.
George also suggested they write a song named High Voltage, since it captured what the band was about. He also suggested a chord progression of A-C-D-C.
Angus barely drinks at all, and none of the band were the rampant cokeheads I'd always assumed.
Malcolm can tear it up comparable to Angus, but, being the business-minded one, sees the advantage of Angus' schoolboy persona dominating the group.
Even the band admits Flick the Switch wasn't very good.
***** bands like Foreigner and Journey, having been blown off the stage in various festivals, refused to play any show in which AC/DC opened for them.
And my personal favorite:
AC/DC's first show of their very first US tour was at Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin.
