There could be 40 runs scored tonight!

Has Texas Pitching ever given up 27 runs in a game before? This is not Texas baseball the way I am use to seeing it.

We (unofficially) once gave up 35 runs to Dime Box in a 35-32 loss....in 1896.

That same year we took out some of that frustration in a 46-19 win over Manchaca.

...although the Sixth Ward got the best of us late in the season with a 32-3 drubbing.

Something is wrong or different this year. Love these guys, will root for them and support them all the way even if they don't win another game all season (which they will and likely in droves, they will get if figured out and fixed). But something is wrong. Something must change.

31-12? This belongs on the football board.

These kinds of things happen sometimes. It was incredibly cold at Simmons Field last night and I'm sure Mizzou being used to that kind of weather helped them out immensely. The ballpark usually plays really big, but we've never seen wind like that last night.

wow I thought there was some kind of mercy rule in place. I mean when you are down 15 runs might as well end the game and send the students home to study. That being said we enjoy the hell out of winning 70-0 in football and I don't feel the same there.
