the worst anti-UT decal

we were in oklahoma last weekend to see my niece graduate (uco, not ou). in edmund there was a car ahead of ours with two young yahoos in it. their rear window had a huge decal that read "how we get our crimson". the picture was a white upside-down longhorn with a bullet hole in the middle of it, blood dripping down from the bullet hole into a white ou paper clip which was half red from the blood dripping into it.

I don't get bothered by upside-down horns or even "saw 'em off", but that was way out-of-line.

Edmond is actually pretty Texas friendly. I teach at UCO and wear my Texas gear everywhere. No one gives me and crap. Lots of other Horns around the area.

Which is why I specified that my niece graduated from UCO, not OU. For those who don't know abt the University of Central Oklahoma - which would be most everyone here - it's the 3rd largest school in Ok with a nice, growing campus in Edmund. Home of the Bronchos.

I have a friend with a motor home that once he enters Oklahoma he slightly opens his black tank (sewage) so that he can crap all over Oklahoma. Not a bad idea. No bumper stickers needed. Just don't drive too close to moter homes with Texas plates. You never know.

I'll go ya one better. I'm driving down the road and a pickup passes me with the sawed off horns window sticker (obviously an agro)but then i glance down at his license plate and it reads "Cook'em". Now here comes the good part......the plate was a UT plate! He probably is too dumb to figure out he contributed to his most hated rival with the purchase of the plate. LOL.

All new grads and around 1975 was driving to Dallas with wife, frat buddy, and his date and saw, the first for us, tuck fexas bumper sticker. Wasn't too offended but frat buddy went ballistic. Was almost able to calm him down when a Bevo Sucks sticker was passed. I thought he was going to waste an entire bottle of vodka throwing it at the okie...well maybe it wasn't entirely full but he was ready to engage the enemy. Was the last trip to Dallas we ever made together, may he RIP.
