The Vanishing Texas Dance Halls

I really hate this, as it's a true part of Texas tradition. I have been to several of these and some are gone now that I went to. We are losing so much of our history and it's too bad people don't enjoy places like this anymore.

I hate to see James White getting old. I'm afraid my old haunt and legendary dance hall, the Broken Spoke will vanish too, when he's gone. I need to get back there and talk to my old friend and wear out some more boot soles.

Back when the Texas Independence Day Parade was still allowed. The Broken Spoke always had a float and James always wanted me on it.

That's James at the front, in his latest George Strait tour jacket. George always sent him one for helping him get started.

The tall guy in the middle with the black Stetson and brown leather coat, he might just be your humble moderator. :smile1:

I traded her in for a new model, just like I did that Monte Carlo.

That's quite a contrast to the picture up above. The many facets that are me. :smokin:
