The U.S. Dollar

I look at my portfolio, and a good bit of it is heavily invested in US companies. I'm really afraid of the further decline in the US dollar. How do you hedge against it? Is investing in multi-nationals and foreign equities enough? And I'm not a fan of buying precious metals.

Ameros. They'll completely replace the peso, the american dollar AND the canadian dollar by 2015. Get in the game early, and profit.

I don't know if this strategy is any good, but I've bought some commodity-based stocks and thought about precious-metals based stocks and mutual funds. For example: mining companies (coal, gold, etc.) and oil refiners.
