The Tennessee Titans...

can kiss the fattest part of my ***.

You know what?

**** the Tennessee Titans organization, **** the Tennessee Titans coaches, and especially **** the Tennessee Titans so-called "fans".

Vince has not received one OUNCE of support from the Titans. From day one, there were whispers of how Fisher and Chow wanted Leinhart. The fans openly wanted Jay Cutler.

Then last year, Chow orchestrated a somewhat behind-the-scenes campaign bashing Vince because Vince didn't run Chow's offense the way Chow wanted him too.

Vince played hurt most of last year, with no complaints. When it came time to get Vince some help in the off season, the Titans refused to do even that.

The Titans won 9 games in the entire TWO YEARS before Vince was drafted. He topped that total just last year, AND took them to the playoffs.

So, **** them. Vince is a special and once in a lifetime athlete. If they cannot see that, and if they cannot get him even the minimum help he needs to be successful, they can all take a flying leap as far as I am concerned.

Sorry, that just needed to be said...

Im the biggest VY homer there is...trust me.

But he didnt turn that organization around alone. They win games with Defense. They have just been asking Vince to not mess up too bad and just manage the game.

Without that incredible D, they dont even get close to .500

I agree they have done NOTHING to help him on Offense, but lets face it, he just wasnt very good last year. And he was pretty horrible on Sunday. He might not have any WRs, but where have his legs gone? He excuse last year was a bad quad, and then yesterday his hamstring was tight and i guess he decided not to run.

He makes very bad decisions throwing, isnt very accurate, and never even thinks about using his legs the way Texas VY did. This is odd considering how accurate he was with the horns. But I guess there isnt much pressure when your guys are wide open all of the time. In the NFL he is going to have to thread the needle, whether he has probowl WRs or not.

I can say fuk all the fans that are celebrating his injury....that is just a bunch of BS. But taking off the burnt orange shades, he isnt the same VY who dominates his competition.

But seriously, what do you do??? How do you just let him loose? Let him call the plays?

He really cant throw...if its not a WR screen or a 2 yard pass it seem to half the time end up imcomplete or an interception.

He cant run...he doesnt want to.

The zone read wont work in the NFL.

Something needs to change quickly, and I have no clue what that it. I hope VY gets it together and shuts everyone up. But he is at the point where if he doesnt do something FAST his career is going to be in jeopardy.

I personally hope Kerry Collins sucks *** and the Titans win every game 3-0. But if Kerry plays well, which is possible with the crap teams the Titans have coming up then there is going to be a lot of talk if Vince comes back in and keeps sucking.

I'm in agreement their organizations sucks. No effort to pull a Jerry Jones and make something happen in off season trades. No big moves in the draft.

Hopefully VY stays fairly healthy until he can get a trade.

Typical Titans play calling...

1st down.
Hand of to the tailback between the tackles.
2 yards.

2nd down.
Hand off to the tailback between the tackles.
2 yards.

3rd down.
Drop back and try and complete a pass when the entire defense knows that you are throwing the ball.

Repeat this scenario 90% of your drives during the rest of the game.

FAIL.

Well, I'd say VY sucked last game IF his receivers hadn't dropped about 100 yards worth of passes at a minimum, and if they had any type of burst to allow them to haul in what should have been a 50 yd TD.

He clearly no longer is emotionally vested in this team. He doesn't look like he cares, and I blame the Titans for it. Their whole turn around on defense was predicated on the emotion that Vince brought in his first year. That defense didn't change substantially in terms of players, yet somehow became good enough to win games that they lost the last 2 years... I saw a defeated Titans team to start out 2006, VY brought them out of it. For that alone he needs to be given a break. VY looks defeated now, they drained him. They should be obliged to bring him out of his funk by giving him some support and some non-******* scrub receivers.

I'd be hesitant to say confidently that VY's emotional contributions was the cause of the defense playing better 2 years ago. Defenses can get better for the same reason that a super bowl champ's defense all of a sudden turns to crap the following year. You can't explain it, it just happens. It could be new schemes or adjustments, or just lucky plays made here and there.

But VY definitely isn't getting any help or considerations of his skill set either. The thread from Matt's post has a link to some film of VY's passes, and the announcer states the OC said they need WR's who can actually make plays on balls and their guys aren't doing that

I feel for Vince, but he also needs to do more work on his own

Why did the defense wait until after Vince started playing to become good enough to win games for the Titans in 2006?
