The Story of TEXAS

I had a great time. It was free Sunday. I guess because they're working out the bugs they felt guilty charging people. Crowds were not too bad. I didn't try the Texas or IMAX theaters. The layout is very accessible. The exhibits are short and to the point. Some exhibits are still waiting to be displayed. The video shows were very good. The mechanical bull from Gilley's is the icing on the cake. The TEXAS movie exhibit was my personal favorite. It displayed a video montage of great westerns. John Wayne..nuff said. I can't wait to go back and check out the theaters. Every TRUE Texan will love this place. Long live the Republic!

The Bob Bullock Museum and Story of Texas is a MUST if you are coming in from out of town.
Especially if you are bringing the kids along.

I would start the tour off with the Texas Star theater interactive show. Its very disneyesque.
