The schedule is out & Fox is all Big XII

HIC - be glad you are in the Windy City area... its 91 degrees in McKinney/ DFW area at 10:15 pm!!!

Predicted to hit 106 here Friday!

Far too HOT for man or beast....
Not to totally derail this thread, but I hate Chicago weather wise and otherwise. The mayor there, I'm in the burbs, and her quarantines from places like...Texas, are killing us, Frontier.

Wish me luck, I may be out of a job or taking a 50% pay cut and downgrade back to First Officer in October.

Hope the pro lockdown and quarantine crowd are happy. I say they can kindly go **** themselves if they haven't already.

And, brother, when it is wind chills regulalyr below zero here in the winter, your temps sound pretty good! :beertoast:

I love the cold, but, for me, it was the gray, gloomy skies that set the mood...not necessarily for the better. I found I started listening to alot different music while there....dreary music like Everyday is Like Sunday by The Smiths.
And I recall a few mornings out w some sort of hair product in my hair where my hair froze and I could break a few pieces off!!

When you talk about Chicago, are you referring only to the actual Chicago or the city and its surrounding municipalities and suburbs? (Much like all of Harris County and anything stretching out to Sugar Land or Clear Lake or Pearland or Friendswood is (now) considered to be part of "greater Houston"). FWIW, I have cousins who live in Wheaton IL, and they love it there.

Yes, mostly city of. There are some aspects of the burbs that are okay and pretty much like burbs in any major metro area. I'm not too far from Wheaton.

Quite honestly, the area south of Burr Ridge and Willow Springs is nicer than any area around DFW and nicer than most of the areas surrounding Houston. The winter is a little rough though.

I like the Hill Country and Highland Lakes better, but I'm loving the summer in the SW Chicago burbs.

Ha, I live in Burr Ridge and prior to that was in Willow Springs.
