The Rose Bowl on Google Earth

OK, so I'm pretty much useless today. I'm sitting here on a boring conference call, and I'm looking at the Rose Bowl on Google Earth. Does anyone know how often the images are updated? They clearly have "TEXAS" in one end zone, so it's been in the last few days, but there is no tailgating visible on the golf course parking lots, so it's not super recent, either. It's what, 11 AM there now, I expect things are hopping.

It often takes a few years to update. Try looking at something that was built about a year ago in the town where you live. Probably won't be there. The picture could easily be from four years ago.

I'm only getting a pure green field with no logos on GE, either through GE or google maps....

Somebody photo shopped that image and put a sign that said Vince's House a couple years back.

If I understood the announcement at the game correctly, they said that they were updating Google Map during or just before the game. Check the the other ez probably says ALABAMA and the 50 yard marker will be BCS not the Rose Bowl logo.
