The Roots have made me Sad

So it has been announced that The Roots will now be the house band for Jimmy Fallon when he takes over Conan O'Brien's slot next year. The Roots don't want to tour anymore. Man...that makes me feel old.

Makes me sad too but I guess I understand.. I mean theyve toured pretty much non stop for the last 15 years... I doubt Fallons show will last long anyway so well see

Wow, I was at UT when The Roots broke out in the early 90s and saw them live a ton of times in Austin and Houston. I can't believe they're going to be the house band. That sucks. They are right in my wheelhouse of Hip Hop, since I stopped listening to new stuff and stick with music between about 1988-1998.

The only thing stranger would be if Buckshot from Black Moon became Fallon's sidekick.
