Personally, I don't care for them. I see them as a "necessary evil" of sorts and would rue the day anyone in my family married into them.

The league should replace the refs with the security guards who were there to protect K-Mart's mom and Melo's girlfriend. I have a feeling they would be about as effective.

Replace the NBA refs with YMCA refs, so someone can get stabbed with a table leg.

They should just start flipping coins to decide controversial calls and erase charging from the rulebook altogether.

They should just keep judges like in boxing. one on each corner, and 2 at midcourt. No stoppage of play. Judges just keep track of fouls. At the end up the game, the teams then take their free throws. Then teams only get upset once a game.
