*Really* like this new bar, right above J Blacks.

I esp. like the back area, which is like a back porch.

It's real interesting how this area has exploded. What is also interesting is the older bars in this area - Molotov, for example - look like they are getting really hurt by the new bars.

Bars are like fads. For the most part they come and go like parachute pants. If you are or become the "blue jeans" type of place that endures trends and keeps customers then you are extremely lucky and defy the odds of the business.

You are only new till some slick new idea comes. Your customers will go check it out. The trick is to have them come back and not stay there or continue to venture. Stale happens fast. Some rely on just changing the name or a basic remodel. That can only go so far.

I hope J.'s defies this and thrives.
