The rain let up here about 11:15. Unfortunately, the creek crested about 30-40 minutes later. Literally about an inch or two from jumping the bank directly behind the house. Since then, it has dropped about a foot to a foot and a half. I think only that much because upstream Shoal Creek was still getting pounded.

As of 1:15, the creek was down 4-5 feet.

Just chatted with an APD officer. 2222 at Bull Creek washed out last night. And a missing body, this morning, as someone tried to cross the water (but they found the Lexus)... something about a Fire/Rescue boat having big problems after they ported it thru Lake Austin...but I didn't catch all of that.

Looks like round 2 is coming pretty quick now.
