The Proper Way To Sack A Quarterback

I would have thrown a flag because he didn't put the pillow down before laying her head upon it.

That's true. The pillow has to be in contact with the ground before contact with the QB. At least 50 percent of the pillow mass - one corner alone isn't enough. Two corners have to make contact with the ground. Also, if replay shows that any part of the head of neck area lands on the outside two inches of the pillow, that's a penalty. Also, if the head is the first part of the body to make contact with the ground, that's a penalty. Also, if the defender approaches the QB with an expression that appears to be menacing or has some sort of malicious intent, that's a penalty. Each QB will be interviewed after the game to determine whether they felt threatened or non-affirmed at any point during the game, and that may result in later fines and forced apologies and mandatory purchases of gift baskets.
