The Pirate says hello SEC............

laughed alot as I flipped over to LSU/MSU during commercial breaks of the Horns.......an SEC and school record of 623 yards passing against an SEC defense.........:yippee:............the Pirate may be dangerous as he has a Stanford transfer KJ Costello at QB and some it appears good receivers to run his offense.

I’m sure the Pirate turned some sec heads, especially in the sec West.
How’s that projected win against Mississippi State look now aggie?

How is it even possible for a vaunted sec...sec...sec defense to get torched for 623 yds? EVERYONE knows sec...sec...sec has the best defenses in the world. :coolnana::fiestanana::trophy::beertoast::lmao::idk:

I'm loving it. I can think of one fan base in this State that isn't so happy about it...

Aaaargh! I hear the Brazos river is navigable up to 150 miles inland for 1800s wooden sailing ships...

Pirate was 7-3 against aggy at Tech. He always seemed to have their number.

Fun fact, since 2000 Tech has more wins against aggy then they do Texas and they have played the Horns 9 more times.

I know I will be rooting for 'Pirate' vs saban......never saban!!

They will blow aggie away on 10/17 but ag has an elite qb that always looks scared!
And a 10million $ coach!!!

Aggie President takes back the fake National Champion “Division I championship “ Plaque??? they presented to Jimbo at his press conference.
I think when Jimbo got that fake future trophy, he must have thought- ‘Oh boy, I made judgment error coming here.’
Seriously, did you see his face when they handed that to him? Like a scene with Buddy McGarrity from Friday Night Lights.

I was thinking the same. All my SEC buddies make fun of the B12 defenses, then Miss St torches a team that “reloaded” a stocked defense.... I have steaks marinating for the Aggie /Pirate game

Over the years I've always liked Leach but feel sometimes he works to hard at being quirky. This past Saturday college gameday did a segment on him where he went on a rant about every burger joint you can think of except McDonald's was better than Whataburger. Not sure I can ever root for him again.

Pirates dont eat hamburgers. They eat sheep, that why aggies hate him.

He's going to frequently drive aggies, pigs, Cajuns, Rebel preps, "plains" dwellers, and lots of people to a raging hatred of him with his quirks and antics poking fun at his opponents. Also, my sense is that most of that conference views MSU as the sort of school that they should rarely, if ever, lose to. He'll beat a lot of them, and often.

From my perspective, Leach to MSU = the best thing to happen to the SEC in decades.

He'll stir up the toilet bowl that is the sec for sure. That said, I hate his style of offense. I hate seeing a team pass 60-70 times a game. The Texas-Tceh game seemed like it lasted 12 hours.

So true. Hate that offense. Not really what "real" football is IMO. But today is a different era. Better to watch him humiliate some of those SEC defenses for the next few years and keep him out of the B12. Maybe Bulldog fans will start throwing tortillas while shaking those cowbells?!?

Once coaches figure out his scheme his teams go south especially on D. He does provide instant turnaround moments though, and beating LSU was one of them. I expect he’ll do well this first year, looking forward to Aggie meltdowns.

MSU Bulldog fans should start throwing moon pies.

There's definitely something to this. Excorciating comments made by the then defensive coordinator at Washington regarding the Leach offense come immediately to mind. However, The Pirate has better talent at MSU ( consistent top 20 classes) than he did at Washington State and he's pretty good about getting the most out of his kids, well... on offense anyways. MSU may never win the SEC but they're going to screw things up for some teams trying to do so and more.

No issues as long as he is a royal pain in aggy's a$$.

That offense is tough to stop and he's proven that everywhere he's been, even when his teams are outclassed talent-wise. If you are a MSU or Washington State fan (I am neither, obviously), it's likely pretty fun to watch.

The "Pirate" gets his *** handed to him.
You're a grown man Mike. After 20 years it's not "cool " anymore. Hasn't been for awhile.

How do you beat LSU and then lose to Arkansas? Of all the untransitive events so far in the 2020 season, this may be the most baffling yet.

I watched the game. MSU hasn’t fully learned the air raid yet. Players consistently missed blocks and the QB forced throws that should have been grounded or thrown out of bounds.

But the Pirate didn’t have is *** handed to him.
