The Perfect Scenario:

As a result of other UT losing Tuesday night on national TV, there are three things that, if they happen, will put Texas as the #1seed in Houston IMO:

1) Take care of our own business & win out;and

2) Tennessee takes another loss, either to Kentucky (don't laugh, prior to Tuesday UK was the only other team to defeat Tennessee other than us), Florida (longshot), or in the first 2 rounds of the SEC tourney; and

3) Memphis loses to UAB to close out regular season or takes a 1st round lost in the C-USA tourney (unlikely)

Depending on how the other top teams fare may determine the "top overall seed", but I think losses by Tenn & Memphis ensure Texas the top spot in the Houston regional...

I think TN will have a much tougher time in Florida than at home against KY. Like us, TN has won alot of games close...alot more than they've lost so anything is possible.

I don't see Memphis losing to UAB. IMO, Memphis is extremely overrated. They've played a total of 3 ranked teams. Their conference schedule is extremely weak compared to what TX, TN, Duke, UNC, etc...have had to play week-in and week-out.

I'm worried that we're going to get "screwed" by getting a 1 but being put on another really good teams de facto home court.
