Talent is everywhere out here with big prospects in every group.

Shane Buechele was very good during Qb drills and is a very confident leader out here.

Reggie Hemphill looks great in passing drills, very smooth.

Kendell Jones is a monster, I really can't describe what it's like to see him up close.

The Opening's defensive line coaches selected Kendell Jones for the MVP award on Sunday.

Per 247Sports:
Could that mammoth size (a ripped 6-5, 341 pounds) translate to functional ability on the field? It did on Sunday. Jones isn't going to do a lot laterally but as a nose guard, he's quick enough and explosive enough to get that initial first step to get to half a man and he's certainly powerful enough to penetrate following that initial movement. As a 3-4 defensive tackle, Jones would be a strong defensive foundation.

Lil' Bros Shine At The Opening...

Per HornSports:
Beaumont Westbrook defensive tackle Christian Bluiett is a bit undersized but attacked his opponents violently and played with an incredible motor. The younger brother of Longhorn defensive end Caleb Bluiett is also involved in power lifting, and showed outstanding strength on his bull rush.

The surprise of the day was the offensive line MVP Christopher Hughes of Harker Heights. Christopher is the younger brother of Texas tackle Camrhon Hughes, and was very sound in pass protection drills. The younger Hughes is quite a bit smaller than his brother, but was not intimidated by the environment and excelled against top-notch competition.
