Are you suggesting that all black students leave to take their talents elsewhere or just the athletes?

surely picked on a lot in school if not to this day. last picked at kickball yet not qualified to compensate for it by being a cop. likely failed the psychological screening process. quite obvious, sad and tired.

As an independent I have to admit that I lean left more often than right but guys like this make me almost feel dirty when I do. Then I realize both sides have a fringe element that don't get claimed by any party. They attach themselves like a remora only they are not sembiotic, just caustic.
 
In many ways Cedar, I agree with you. If black athletes require a atmosphere that is respectful of diversity and that requirement is seen as coddling and walking on eggshells on issues related to race, then they should haul *** to more welcoming environment. If they should find racist cartoons offensive, they should shut up or leave.

Damn. The Daily Texan almost acted like they had a pair of balls. Now I guess they'll follow along with the liberal media and print a picture of 12 yr old Trayon along with a BS puff piece.
 
You think I should start demanding that you criticize and/or rebuke the cartoon until I get the kind of response from you I want? tell me what you think?
 
Easy. I'll answer the question as straightfoward and honestly as I can.

I don't think she represents the UT student body and faculty in general.

I think the cartoon was in poor taste.

I think there was some truth in it regarding the way the msm has handled this case.

I tink the univeristy was correct in denouncing the cartoon.

I think firing her was a little over the top. Too extreme and used as a way to pacify. There are other forms of disciplinary actions that would suffice.

See how easy it is to aswer directly?

I had something stronger in mind. Let me see you rebuke and criticize. I'll let you know when I'm satisfied.
 
Can't get any more straigtforward than my answer above. I offered my criticism and stopped short of fully rebuking it because of the issue she was attempting to illustrate. So let me be clear. It was in poor taste, but not enough to warrant a firing. That's pretty simple to understand. Don't you think so?
