I had a buddy who went to Bay City High who did a chicken prank. They let loose 3 chickens, each one in a different part.

They painted numbers on the chickens. 1,2, and 4...

They closed the school and spent all day looking for #3...

We never did the chicken prank. We did fill up all the trough urinals in the school with deer corn.

Good times... good times.

I hear that Lauderdale High put a shark in our pool back around '70 or '75 (we were Stranahan) right around the time of our annual game. They were the 1st high school in Fort Lauderdale wh ile we were the 1st school (later given a cupgrade to high school).

my brothers class did two good pranks. they got everyone to check out books from the library and wait, wait, wait, emptying out a good amount of the books then bringing them all back the same day.

they also stole a Bob's Big Boy statue, painted it to look like their football coach, the burger to look like a ball and then chained to the field house. they also stole a tree, a big tree and planted it on the 50 yard line of Newman Smiths practice field, the funny part was the inverted "T" shaped concrete anchor attached to it and buried under the 50 yard line. good stuff. tow truck couldn't pull that sucker out of the ground.

We did the stink viles in the air conditioner intakes, it was okay. We also set off a military grade smoke bomb that led to an evacuation of an entire wing.

My junior year in high school saw a senior get nabbed the day before the seniors' elaborate prank was to go off. The prank was to set off a tape recording of a senior message from the band hall.

The problem was that the band hall was on the opposite side of the school from the administration where the school's PA existed. For a couple of weeks, various seniors too turns sneaking up to school after hours to run wire from room to room using a master key they had obtained.

The last night saw the hook of the system and a test. Everything would have gone perfectly, had the senior-on-duty not tripped the silent alarm taking a bathroom break. Cops came, arrested made, campus suspension, no funny.

Oh, well.

(Spring Woods class of '85 were the seniors...)
