Decent episode, but something Creed said caught my attention. When he was giving advice to Andy he said that was how he got Squeaky Fromme. Did a quick Google search and she was one of the Manson Family who tried to assassinate Gerald Ford. The stuff they come up with for that guy is awesome.

I thought it was great episode. 30 Rock delivered, too. Lots of yucks last night.

Creed is a great character, my favorite line of the year so far is his comment after Jan has her baby in a tub and mentions that the placenta floats to the top.

"Like the tide at Omaha Beach."

I laughed again after typing that.

Creed is my favorite too.

[about Jan's boob job]
Meredith Palmer: I would never do that. Waste of money. In my experience, guys are way more attracted to the back of you than to the front.
Kevin: I love fake boobs. Often times you find them on strippers.
Creed: I find it offensive. Au naturelle, baby. That's how I like them. Swing low, sweet chariots.

Michael: Okay Ryan, you told Toby that Creed has a distinct old man smell?
Creed: [to film crew] I know exactly what he's talking about. I sprout mung beans on a damp paper towel in my desk drawer. Very nutritious, but they smell like death.

Creed: I run a small fake-ID company from my car with a laminating machine that I swipped from the sherrif's station.

Creed:: I'm not offended by homosexuality. In the sixties I made love to many many women, often outdoors, in the mud and the rain. And it was possible a man slipped in, and there would be no way of knowing.

Besides the "swing low, sweet chariots" line, my other favorite Creed moment.

The only difference between me and a homeless man is this job. I will do whatever it takes to survive...like I did when I was a homeless man.

The great thing about Creed is that you only get him in spots, and he never remembers anyones name. I hope they don't do like some other shows and try to make him a focal point of the show. Kind of like the writers of Entourage did with Drama a couple of seasons ago.

Creed: Oh, I steal things all the time. It's just something I do. I stopped caring a long time ago.

p.s. If you haven't; read his blogs.

"I was left on a porch as an infant in the mining town of Coarsegold and raised by a Chinese family whos grandparents came to the mountains to help harvest the gold mine fields....they were nice, but simple folk ....they actually bound my feet as an infant to make me more desirable to prospective suitors.....they didn't realize you only do this to females.....they were sorry of course .."Oh Boo How" they cried, but it was to late then....I lost a toe in the process"

sounds a little like dr. evil describing his childhood..."summers in rangoon...placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds"' etc

My favorite Creed moment is when Michael plants the "weed" in Toby's desk drawer. When the cops come into the office, Creed stands up and puts his hands behind his head.

They always leave you wanting more Creed, yet they don't overuse him. Brilliant writing strategy.

Creed is my favorite character, and not just because I had the distinct pleasure of seeing him in concert as a member of the Grass Roots when I was in junior high. The Roots played Panther Hall in Fort Worth, with Bubble Puppy as an opening act. Sadly, Creed did not drop trou during that performance.

Unreal. I never realized Creed played with The Grass Roots. I saw them in Amarillo in 69 or 70.

Creed is my favorite character.
