Since they are preferring a rescue dog does it mean that they are looking in every state? I would think there is no shortage of people already contacting them. These are great dogs.

Really, they are picking a breed that does not shed for allergen reasons, and this is a feature of the Portugese water dog. I don't know anyone that has owned one, but they look somewhat comical, to be sure. Their popularity will explode, no doubt.
