The movie 'Wanted'

Its an adaptation of a comic book by Mark Millar about a fairly passive normal guy who finds out his recently departed father was one of the world's best super villians (he's an assassin). Dad belonged to a group (think Injustice League or whatever its called) and leaves instructions for his support team to, upon his death, track down his son and train him to follow in his footsteps (also to solve the mystery of his death).

From the trailer it looks like they've dropped the whole super-powered angle and just made them highly skilled assassins. Its directed by the guy that made Nightwatch and Daywatch, so I expect it will be pretty but incomprehensibly unwatchable.

This is not looking like a good summer for movies.

i'm surprised i hadn't seen or heard anything about it, considering the cast.

and yeah, this summer will be fine. plenty of good stuff to go around.

Although... i'll probably just see Iron Man like 30 times. it actually looks good in the previews, and i think Robert Downey, Jr. was a great bit of casting.

robert downey jr was the perfect casting for that rose. tony starck was a total alki. if the franchise keeps going forward and they actually get into the dark parts of tony starck's life i'm sure rdj will be vindicated. he can play that ****** up guy to a tee.

I guess I'm the only one that's not interested in Iron Man. The movie just doesn't make sense, his little suit would be incredibly heavy and it defies Bernoulli's principle. Plus, where does he keep the fuel? I've never read comics though, so I also didn't get into Spiderman or Fantastic 4.

wild turkey, i am with you. i have NO interest in Iron Man either. I don't really like the comic book movies. Superman, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Xmen weren't that good. Batman Forever was entertaining. Anyway, i won't see it.
